* One in eight women or 12.6% of all women will get breast cancer in her lifetime.

* Breast cancer risk increases with age and every woman is at risk.

* Every 13 minutes a woman dies of breast cancer.

* Seventy-seven percent of women with breast cancer are over 50.

* Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women between the ages of 15 and 54, and the second cause of cancer death in women 55 to 74.

* Risks for breast cancer include a family history, atypical hyperplasia, early menstruation (before age 12), late menopause (after age 55), current use or use in the last ten years of oral contraceptives, and daily consumption of alcohol.

* Early detection of breast cancer, through monthly breast self-exam and particularly yearly mammography after age 40, offers the best chance for survival.

1. When was your first kiss and where?
I think this was in grade school, I kissed a boy on the cheek for a dare.  Or maybe I just wanted to, LOL.

2. When was your first real relationship and how long did it last?
I started crushing on this guy when I was 12yo.  We then became a couple when I was 15.  We broke up when I was 17 cuz I started crushing on someone else.  Hehe.

3. What age were you allowed to date?
I was never allowed to date.  Not that guys wanted to date me haha.  Everything was always done in total secrecy.

4. What’s the craziest thing you did (for love) when you were a teenager?
Everything with me is always crazy, I can’t tell the difference anymore.

5. How long was your longest relationship and what’s the secret?
Definitely has to be my marriage.  We’ll celebrate 5 years of marriage in January.  Secret?  Whatever I say goes.  KIDDING!

6. How long did you date before you decided to settle down?
We officially met on December 23, 2003.  We married January 12, 2004.  No typo here.

7. How did you know he was the ONE?
I was brave enough to tell my parents I wanted to marry someone I’d never met before.  If you know me at all, I don’t share my boyfriend tales with my parents.  So to stick up for and present someone so far away, that gave me a few ideas..

8. Now, at what age will you allow your kids(s) to date?
I’d prefer during college but if cupid strikes them during highschool, so be it.

9. When it comes to your kids dating, will you be a cool parent or a strict parent?
Cool parent because I want to know their secrets hehe.  Her dad will be the strict parent.  Balance, see.

10. What piece of advice can you give to your child when they start dating?
When you think you’re in love, trust me – this too shall pass.
