You Are a Yellow Crayon
|

Your world is colored with happy, warm, fun colors.
You have a thoughtful and wise way about you. Some people might even consider you a genius.
Charming and eloquent, you are able to get people to do things your way.
While you seem spontaneous and free wheeling, you are calculating to the extreme.Your color wheel opposite is purple. You both are charismatic leaders, but purple people act like you have no depth.

I can’t tell you how many opps have expired on me because I wait until the last minute to complete them. This is getting ridiculous. I don’t see paid opps in my future for much longer, LOL. I haven’t logged on to PPP for a whole week either. Sames goes for some other sites.
I need to get back into the swing of things. I still haven’t done my Christmas shopping. Add procrastinator queen to my list of roles why don’t you?

Your Mind is 68% Cluttered
|

Your mind is quite cluttered. And like most clutter, it’s a bunch of crap you don’t need.
Try writing down your worst problems and fears. And then put them out of your mind for a while.

You won’t believe this. I missed my flight out of Dayton this evening. We arrived at the airport at 6:20pm. We were running ahead of schedule (so we thought) so we killed time talking in the car. I thought my flight was at 7:59pm. It was at 7:10pm! This is so me, I can’t even count thy ways.
And because O’s place is about half an hour away, we’re booked at a hotel an exit away from the airport. And yummy, it is so nice. Their beds are super comfortable that I wonder if they use a foam mattress for their beds. I could live on this bed forever. And the worst part guys? I have to be up before 4 in the morning to catch my flight. How am I going to tear myself away?
This is not going to be good (it’s midnight now).

I’ve been asked to coordinate O’s wedding.
Let me repeat that. My friend O wants me to coordinate her wedding because she says she doesn’t have time nor does she have the desire to waste her time stressing over “stupid” details.
This is so typical of her. This girl works full-time and then some. Then she takes these classes that take up so much of her time and energy (she’s going for her Ph.D in Mathematics) so that all she’s left with is anxiety attacks and barely time to care for herself, much less her fiancee. So what does she do? She pawns her wedding off to me.
I don’t think she realizes the responsibility she’s put on me. I’m starting to stress out and I haven’t even jumped into the game yet. I know she trusts me — but to coordinate and make her wedding happen? Could our friendship be ruined over this? Hahahahahahaha.
I’m scared and excited at the same time. I love weddings if I haven’t already mentioned this — but to be taken seriously and to be handed a wedding just like that? Hala.
This is going to be a blast.

Oh yes, I am in Ohio everyone.
And I l.o.v.e it here. I’m ready to get our bags packed and our things moved, that’s how much I like it here. It’s just so different here from my neck of the woods. One obvious reason is the snow. Second, people are so laid back and relaxed here — everyone’s soooooo friendly too! They’re either saying hi or genuinely smiling at you. I’m dead serious, I don’t think I’ve smiled at so many strangers as I did in my first 30 or so hours here. Definitely impressed with Ohio people, can’t stress this enough.
And the homes! It’s one thing to see them on craigslist but I gotta tell you, seeing the different neighborhoods and the different styles of homes — love it all. And there are so many trees here (they’re obviously bald because it’s winter). I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the fall, what with the leaves turning colors and how they fall off, etc. I just can’t stop gushing over this state. I’m literally in love with everything and I seem to notice every detail — I noticed even people’s mailboxes are nice and pretty! Sigh.
We’re heading to Columbus tomorrow. Perhaps even Cincinnati. I’m already loving Dayton, how much more these bigger cities?

Pat me on the back guys. I am sitting here in Minneapolis’ airport and I’m eating by myself! Hurrah! I haven’t eaten all day and this Quizno’s sandwich tastes like the best thing on earth right about now. You should see me scarfing this down. But hell, I don’t care. This mama’s hungry and no one is going to get in her way. LOL.
I’ve only been gone for 4 hours and already, I feel my heart tugging for some rice. Hey, maybe I’ll lose weight for the days I’ll be gone, eh? The flight was hardly bearable (I was stuck sitting in the middle for around 3 hours!) but I’m thankful no one stunk and nobody talked to me at all. The last thing I needed was conversation. I just want to be in Ohio already.
There’s snow in Minneapolis! I thought of Alaska and the winters past where snow had everything to do with Christmas. I could certainly go back to snowy Christmases, I realize now.
Ohio, here I come.

Nope, not in Ohio yet. I’m actually leaving first thing in the morning. Done packing, you ask? Oh heeeeeeeeeeeeell no. I’ve pretty much packed everything except the junk I’ll stuff into my bag and then my toiletries. I wouldn’t call it “stress” but this whole winter thing in Ohio has got me pretty disturbed — I have absolutely nothing that equates to true winter clothing. In fact, I was driving the other day when it hit me that maybe, just maybe I would need a coat. So I called O and stupidly asked her, knowing full well she’d say yes. Ugh. And I wasn’t exactly going to go out and buy a coat just to use while in Ohio (just today I was wearing flip flops because it was so warm). So I’ve gathered the thickest sweaters I have (read: 2) and hope that they’ll do if I layer myself with clothes underneath. Oh and scarves and gloves too. Shoes? Flats will have to do since flip flops are out of the question. With the way I talk, you’d think I didn’t grow up in Alaska for the first 24 years of my life. Stufid.
