Ugh. It’s that time of month. I know you really wanted to know that.
And I still need to work out. There’s nothing more pleasant than working out, getting sweaty and just feeling ohsogood…
And can I share something? I was working out last week, riding along on one of them stationary bikes when two ladies come along and decide to use some equipment next to me. They were obviously Filipino because they were talking in Tagalog. Then I got this big whiff of something nasty (no, not fishy bwahahahaha) — one of the ladies was wearing perfume that smelt like baby powder, vinegar and brown sugar mixed together. It was bad. I almost wanted to tell her off because it was sooo inappropriate. Why would you go to the gym and douse yourself in something so awful? Why would you let anyone get a whiff of it too? Whatever happened to simple deodarant???
Which brings me to share with you something a highschool history once said in class. His name was Mr. Metzgar and he had a lazy eye which made his humor even funnier. He basically said if you stink, don’t even bother trying to cover it up with perfume or anything that smells nice because in the end, you’re just gonna stink more.
Oh, and speaking of deodarant, I don’t use it on a regular basis. 6x in a year, maybe? In fact, when I was busy playing sports in highschool, I never wore any. I may have been fat but I didn’t give off that kind of a smell (naks!). You’d think now that I’m obese, I’d feel a little more conscious but nope. Guess it’s the thick skin in me. Bwahahahhaha, get it? “Thick skin”? LMAO. Anyways.
So yeah, if you go to the gym, don’t bring your baby powder and adobo mix with you, aight?

I checked online and there’s a Disney cruise that’s available in about 2 weeks. A Disney cruise, can you imagine? I know it’s not the same as walking into Disneyland but the characters would still be on board, I imagine and the reviews on Disney cruises are awesome. After our last cruise with.. gosh, I can’t remember the name! Royal Caribbean, was it? Something like that (see, you can tell it was nothing fabulous for DH and I). Anyways, we have free plane tickets provided to us by our timeshare people and all we’d have to pay for is the cruise for the three of us. DH is up for it and God knows Erynne would be too once she saw the characters onboard. Decisions, decisions, decisions. You all know I love last minute trips like this but damn, when it involves paying a lot more than just pennies (ehem, like that last cruise), the adult in me tells me to hold off and we can certainly save up for this Disney cruise in a months’ time. But hell, what’s plastic for? And don’t we only live once?

Over dinner this evening, DH and I discussed going on a (beach) trip for Erynne’s birthday next month. Last year, after our cruise, we said we were going to treat her to a birthday Disney cruise. We then dumped that idea so that we could plan a trip to Manila and Hongkong Disneyland. At least this way, she would have her two male cousins with her (same ages) and they could all experience Disneyland together. Now we’re back to that idea of something beachy — a Disney cruise (where we get to visit Disney’s private beach island) or a Hilton Head rental? With the Hilton Head rental, I’m just wondering if the weather would be favorable in the month of March. I love last minute trips like this. Exciting!

Remember I was talking about Sophie Kinsella’s book? Well, Borders finally came out with it just today. If I were to have purchased it online yesterday, I would have only paid the pre-order rate $15. I called their store a day before it was to be released in stores and they couldn’t tell me whether or not the book could be purchased in stores for the same pre-order rate (of $15). Annoyed because I wanted a simple answer right then and there and because I wanted the book asap without having to pay hardcover price (I’m cheap, I know), I went ahead and found a seller online and paid less than the $15 pre-order blah blah. So ha! to you Borders people (though I bet if I called them right now, they’d tell me that yes, I could have paid the pre-order rate in stores and walked out with it that very second). I’m not even going to try calling.
I’ll sit patiently like a good little girl and wait for my book in the mail. Yes, I’m excited. Cheap thrills.
(And hallelujah, I finished that Eat, Pray, Love book at last. Damn.)

If you’re an avid golfer, you must have come across Cleveland golf clubs at one time or another. They’re supposedly made of a cutting edge technology–the CMM metal–and Cleveland Irons, Cleveland Hybrid Golf Clubs and Cleveland Golf Wedges all have this. Found a great site where you can spend $50 and get free shipping. They feature all sorts of golf brands–check them out if you’re in the market for some golf clubs. Summer’s coming!

Here we go again, folks. Another gain. Yep, in the form of .4 lbs. You saw all my excuses here so this shouldn’t have come as a surprise (but truth be told, I’m always surprised haha). My leader asked me if it was that time of month to which I replied it was — she said not too worry, she’s positive I’ll have a big weight loss next week. I hope so.
But hey, couldn’t that .4 lbs just be a little more muscle gained? I need all the perking up I can get
. I’m starting to feel so negative right now though I’m trying not to. You don’t know how bad I want to eat a pot full of rice and dive in to food the way I used to do when I was feeling frumpy and funky (as I am now). But if I were to do that, I’d be throwing all that hardwork I put (physically, mentally, emotionally, etc etc) into losing 12.4 lbs so far. Is it worth it? Is causing more misery for myself in the end (when I get on the scale and see that I’ve gained 3 lbs because of rice) going to help the funny stage I’m going through now? Absolutely not. (Note: I realized that I didn’t blog about last Monday’s weigh-in — I lost 3.4 lbs, happily).
I need a good hard workout. You know, the type where I can put on a great pair of boxing gloves and just have a go at the faces I want to punch (and maybe put a little bit of kickboxing into it as well — still the same faces, of course). Yeeeaaaahh baaaaabby. That then just might be better than eating that pot full of rice, indeed.

I’m not really into luxury watches. Granted I was drooling over this Longines watch I saw while we were on our Caribbean cruise late last year but for the most part, I’m not obsessed. However, if my mom were to give me her Rolex, who’d say no, right? I’d definitely take it (in fact, I wish she’d pass it down to me now rather than later). But even if she did give it to me, it’s rare that I walk out of the house with a watch on — you’d most likely see me grabbing my sunglasses before a watch. I guess I’m just weird like that.

Well, you would obviously think so with all these posts popping up, eh? I know. I’m surprised and shocked myself. I was on such a roll yesterday (well, I had the house to myself, that’s why) — I hope this continues. God knows I miss the money (haha) and I realized how much I missed talking nonsense on this blog. So much has happened and is happening to me right now (not all of it good) so I guess you can say venting through here is my way of therapy… and a way to escape, if you will. Don’t worry, nothing suicidal or anything like that. Life gets funny sometimes and right now, I’m going through a funny stage.
So what does a girl do? Make money. Hahahaha. Because yes, I will tell you: money will buy my happiness for a while. LOL.

Can anyone tell me how to put one of these on photos? I’ve been intrigued for the longest time but don’t even know where to start. In short, help!
Thanks.
