Much as I want to blog, I’m so out of it guys. But I hope you missed me cuz I sure as hell missed you guys
. AWWW.
And. I GAINED 3 POUNDS!
. I predicted 4 pounds.
But I’m still happy because that was 3 pounds of fun (and pizza. And ice cream. And burgers!). So it might take close to 2 weeks to get rid of it but who cares? Seriously. I still have a vision and it still says 96 pounds.
Oh, and getting sunburnt — does that add weight? I have bumps all over my arms, back and chest (heat rash, I believe). Haha, I’m totally kidding.
I still feel like I’m on the ship so I’m not quite ‘balanced.’ Didn’t get sea sick or anything like that but now that we’re off the ship, I feel like my world is swaying. And speaking of ship, so pleased with it! You know how I’m picky with rooms and all — rooms were totally reburfished, bedding was beyond comfortable and the bathroom? You could drop your soap in the shower and still pick it up (ahem, unlike our last cruise with Royal Caribbean). Add to the fact even the bathroom faucets, mirrors and sink were all brand-spanking new. Oh and Camp Carnival for the kids? BRILLIANT. You can literally drop your kid off and leave them there alllllllll daaaaaaaaaaaaay if you were evil and wanted time alone with your husband or wife. I could only stand to leave Erynne for 2-3 hours at a time because we started missing her but the darn kid would always cry everytime we picked her up because she preferred hanging with other children her age. And how I wish we had videotaped the dance party the Camp had for the kids in the disco lounge the night we started sailing — my girl won best dancer for the girls! Woohoo! I was busy taking photos and laughing my head off (but still managing to groove) so her daddy competed on the parents side — no, her dad didn’t win but had it been me? Dude, my girl and I would have been champions of the night.
Bwahahahaha.
There goes the swaying again. More blogging later. And some pictures!
Good to be back and I can’t wait to catch up on my reads

I’ve lost over 25 pounds!!!!
26 pounds, to be exact. Which means I’m 4 pounds away from losing 30!
Imagine that guys. My goal is to lose 40 pounds before June 7th, 2008. That’s O’s wedding.
I can do this. Even if there’ll be tons of food staring at me on the cruise. I’ve heard this before from someone else (might have been in one of my fitness magazines) but nothing will taste as great as wearing skinny clothes.
And with that, I’m off to get dressed for our trip. I’m kinda frazzled (aren’t I always?) because I still have a few things to do and I have less than an hour to do them. Hey, at least I packed 95% of our stuff last night and instead of this morning, LOL.
I shall return!

Did you know the Hublot watch was the watch of European royalty? The King of Greece first saw it and no sooner did the King of Spain, the King of Sweden and the Prince of Monaco follow suit in wearing one of these watches. Supposedly, no other watch out there has seen as high of a rise as the Hublot. Seeing as how I’m not even a watch guru or enthusiast, I’ve never even heard of the Hublot so now I’m quite intrigued. Maybe when we’re walking around Nassau (gotta love duty-free shopping), I’ll see if they have these in their jewelry stores.

Meet my boyfriend. Has been for a long time now. It all started after watching Goodwill Hunting years ago. Then I found out he majored in English Literature and I knew right there, we were meant to be. BWAHAHA. Oh, and did you know he dropped out of college like myself? See, it’s fate. Bwahahha. He’s not super good-looking but have you seen his body? Puuuuuuurfect. Ugh, I just love everything about this dude.
Except his wife, of course (how could he!?!??!).
Stay tuned for my next boyfriend.

My aunt that just recently came to visit showed me her portable GPS. I’ve never been a fan of these because I always thought they would be a huge distraction while driving but apparently, they’re not (ignorant!). They’re actually pretty cool and something I know my mom could use. She’s lived in California for how many years now but she has only one basic route and that’s it. To get anywhere else, she has to ask me to find her directions on the computer. While I don’t mind this, I think it would be so much more convenient if I bought her her own GPS. They seem pretty straightforward so I don’t think she’d have trouble with it (you have to understand my mom doesn’t really know how to use electronics). And I might as well buy one for myself as I might end up being the one using it most of the time.

Hahahaha.
It’s 7:30am and we leave in a few hours. But before that, I’ll be getting weighed in about an hour. Moment of truth! I’m aiming for a loss of at least .6 lbs. Anything beyond that, I’m a happy camper. But as I said in one of my earlier posts, I’ve been eating so much this week (out of excitement) that I won’t be surprised if I don’t make it to my 25-pound mark. Sigh. I know I’ve come along quite a bit but it’s so easy to quit, ya know? Everyday can still be a struggle — just getting to the gym can be such a chore. Heck, eating well can be such a chore. But I figured as long as I take it each day at a time, somehow I’ll make it to the end of the road.
I packed 4 gym outfits. I work out 4x a week at home, why should it be any different on this trip? And to be honest, exercise is such a part of my life now, I can’t fathom the idea of not exercising. Even if it was to the point where I wouldn’t be losing weight anymore, there is nothing greater than feeling strong on the inside. My next goal is to take a stab at running. This scares me because I’m so heavy and I wonder if I might be putting too much pressure on my knees. The last thing I need right now is an injury of any sort. I’ve never been a runner but we had to do quite a bit of it during highschool sports and sure, I bitched and moaned and thought my lungs would pop out of my chest but I survived. Heh — but we’re talking how many decades ago hahahaha.
So easy to quit…. but I won’t. Now let’s go get weighed!

Even though DH gifted me with a brand new digital camera for our 4th anniversary this year, I was thisclose to buying another one — the waterproof and shockproof Olympus digital camera. Seeing as how klumsy I am and how Erynne loves to play with our gadgets, it would have been perfect for our trip. Plus, it could take underwater pictures — which was the main selling point for me. However, after reading reviews on it, eeeeeh. Sure I can be rough with it and I wouldn’t have to worry about putting a dent on it and yeah, it might have been a best buy at buy.com but quality isn’t all that high. Oh well. I’ll stick with my Casio.

The home behind us has been undergoing renovation for quite some time now. My mom was out on a walk when she came across the people who were renovating the home and being the nosy person that she is, she asked if she could peek inside. They let her and no sooner did she insist that I check it out too. The home is a bit smaller than ours but what I loved about the renovated home was that instead of having a family room (as we do), the new owner turned it into a functional backyard, complete with a nice deck and a raised area against the fence to grow some flowers. I wish we had a nice, big back deck as well but that would mean compromising space from the family room — something I don’t know I’d want to do as we spend all our time in the family room (the living room just sits there). I can just imagine how nice Market Umbrellas and some great chairs would look on a big deck. Oh well. Someday.

Happy surprise! Nothing major but my heart did a happy dance just a second ago.
I’ve never been a fan of page ranks but yehey, we’re slowly moving up in the world. At least, according to Triple P (no wonder there are jobs available!).
But as is the norm in this lovely world, nothing is forever. So much so that I won’t be surprised if all this was just a figment of my overly exaggerated mind.
