Lemme take you down memory lane.
A fun tag from Liv!
1. Ditty (Paperboy) — my friends and I were going to be seniors in highschool and it was a summer where we’d go clubbing at the one and only club for minors in our hometown. We’d hear this song and go buck wild. One of the best summers ever (hey, we were going to be seniors come fall. We thought we ruled hahaha).
2. Estudyante Blues (Freddie Aguilar) — I kid you not, my cousins and I were jamming to this song sometime in the 90′s at my parents’ province. We’d have those provincial Christmas parties in the streets and what did I know? I joined in and had the best time. I’ll always be a province girl, I swear hahaha!
3. What Do I Do (Nyoy Volante) — the song that made me look at E in a different light. We were worlds apart but this song brought us together. We even bumped into Nyoy at Megamall a few weeks after giving birth and Eric chased him down just so he could meet me and Erynne. It’s a shame we didn’t have a camera with us. Nyoy probably thought we were full of crap, LOL.
4. All Cried Out (Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam) — I was in the 8th grade (or was it 6th grade?). The guy that I liked (secretly) went to my friend M. She asked me if I was okay with it — what kind of a friend would I have been had I said, “HELL NO!” So this song was one of those “I wanna cry” moments hahahaha.
5. Song from Love Affair — I don’t know that it’s the theme song but it was my bridal song. I remember that moment like it was only yesterday. I was literally walking on air – goosebumps and all. I felt my legs wanting to crumble. Everyone should experience a march down the aisle — it’s really something else. And I’m not really the type who cares for stuff like this.
6. Let’s Groove Tonight (Earth, Wind & Fire) — our entrance song at our wedding. It didn’t matter if anyone was there or not; our wedding wasn’t perfect but my attitude by that point was “screw it, let’s party.” But hearing this song makes me smile despite some of the people I wanted to kill.
There are so many other songs I could put down but they just don’t come to mind right now and/or I’m only limited to 6 *smile*. I’m tagging Cheche, Toni, Weng, and Jody. List down 6 songs which take you down memory lane and take us down there with you. Then tag 4 others to do the same!
